Contributions to AYUSH

• The Department of CARISM has conducted various trainings, workshops and conferences. Over 200 participants from various Ayurveda and Siddha Institutions all over India were benefited by participating in these workshops and conferences funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi.
• We have generated 5 research publications through the COE Scheme under the Ministry of AYUSH and have duly acknowledged the financial support of the Ministry of AYUSH in those publications.
• The Commissioner, Indian System of Medicine was invited in the year 2010 to deliver a special address and he released a book on “Phyto wealth of SASTRA”
• Resource persons were invited for the workshops and conferences from National Institute of Ayurveda, National Institute of Siddha, Captain Srinivasa Murthy Drug Research Institute, Chennai and Central Research Institute of Siddha, Chennai.
