SASTRA Law Student wins prestigious SILF - MILAT Best Law Students Award of the Year - 2019
SASTRA LAW STUDENT Chi. A. Revanth WINS SILF - MILAT Best Law Student of the Year (Male) Award – 2019 & 50,000$ GRANT TO PURSUE POST GRADUATE DEGREE IN PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY
SASTRA Law School team consisting of Chi. Revanth.A, Kum. Sanjuktha. D, Kum. Raghavi. Ve and Chi. Theyagarajan. B of V year B.A.LL.B., (Hons.) participated in the Fourth Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon SAARC LAW Mooting Competition - India Rounds held at Llyod Law College, Noida on 26, 27 and 28 October 2018. Fifty-two law colleges from various parts of the country participated in the competition including several national law schools. SASTRA Law School team won the Best memorial award in the competition.
Also, the participants who are in the final year of their law degree were interviewed by a panel of 3 members including Shri Lalit Bhasin Chairman & President of Society of Indian Law Firms and President of The Bar Association of India and Prof. Dr. S Sivakumar at Indian Law Institute (ILI).
Based on the past achievements and a detailed personal interview two students were given the prestigious SILF - MILAT Best Law Students Award of the Year - 2019. Revanth. A of SASTRA Law School was awarded the SILF - MILAT Best Law Student of the Year (Male) Award - 2019. Further, USD 50000 has been granted to Revanth. A to pursue an LL.M., degree in the Penn State Law, Pennsylvania State University, USA.
