XXVII CONVOCATION
INSTRUCTIONS TO GRADUANDS
1. The convocation function will commence at 11:00 a.m. on September 8, 2013.
2. Registration for the convocation function will begin at 07:30 a.m. and will close at 9:00 a.m. on September 8, 2013.
3. No registration will be entertained after 9:00 a.m. Online registration was to ascertain the strength and cannot be construed as physical on-campus registration. Every student who has registered online must register on September 8 at the assigned venue.
4. Those who have not registered online will not be eligible for registration at the venue and can receive their degrees after complying with the procedure which shall be hosted in the website on September 10, 2013.
5. Graduands are advised to go to the respective class rooms in VIDYA VIHAR Block, as indicated below:

6. Graduands after completing the Registration in their respective rooms, will collect their gowns and hoods in the same class rooms on payment of Rs.200/-, which is refundable (after deducting a rental fee of Rs.50/=) on proper return at the same place of collection. CANOPY lunch token will also be handed over to each graduand. Registration for keepsake personal copy of the photo can be done after convocation registration in front of Vidya Vihar till 3:00p.m. The officially appointed photographer will ensure that photos are dispatched to the address given in the registration form. 7. After collecting the gowns and hoods, the graduands are advised to assemble in the road between Jiva Chaitanya block and Central Library by 10:00 a.m. You are advised to assemble in the order as given in the booklet, a copy of which will be given during the registration.
8. Graduands are advised to occupy seats by 10:30 a.m. in the respective zones allotted. This is to be meticulously followed to avoid any confusion and delay. No latecomer will be provided seating even if he/she has registered in the venue.
9. The graduands are advised to return to their respective seats after receiving the degree and they should not leave the convocation venue till the function is over.
10. Gowns and hoods should be returned in the same room from where it was collected.
11. Students who would like to stay in the University Guest House may do so by authorizing a representative to submit the Guest House request form. The University Guest House is available for accommodation from 7:00 p.m. on September 7, 2013 to 4:00 p.m. on September 8, 2013. On payment of the prescribed fee, the room can be occupied and will be allotted on a FCFS basis as only limited rooms are available.
We seek your cooperation for the smooth conduct of the Convocation without making any procedural deviations. Kindly be prepared to stay till 3:00 p.m. and plan your return trip accordingly.
