SASTRA Law Team Adjudged Runners Up in 8th ILNU National Moot Court Competition
A team consisting of Kum. Esha Kumar, Kum. Pavithra. R and Kum. Vibhaa.S, all II year students from School of Law, SASTRA took part in the 8th ILNU National Moot Court Competition in association with Competition Commission of India hosted by Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The team from School of Law, SASTRA was adjudged Runners up in the Competition. They were awarded a cash price of Rs. 25,000 and received an offer to intern at Gaggar and Partners, Delhi.
The competition was held from August 31st – 02nd September 2018. The problem for this edition of the moot was based on Competition Law and Constitutional Law. The competition witnessed a participation of 24 teams. The Final was between Symbiosis Law School, Noida (Petitioners) and School of Law, SASTRA Deemed to be University (Respondents).
