SASTRA has been re-accredited in the IV cycle with a maximum GRADE 'A++' by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission. The Score of 3.76 puts SASTRA as number one university of its type in Tamilnadu and amongst the top in the country.
The Peer Team expressed satisfaction about the genuine interest and approach of the University in maintaining quality and standards in its educational activities. It also commended the University for its several good practices and achievements, some of which in particular are:
