Fellowship	As per DST norms Rs. 39,630/- per month (Rs. 37,000+ 8% HRA) (for CSIR-NET/GATE qualified candidates). Otherwise as per the norms of University

Essential qualification	M.Sc./ M.Tech. (Microbiology/Biotechnology) or equivalent degree with 55% marks
Desirable	Strong background in microbiology and molecular biology as evidenced by SCI indexed publication(s). CSIR-NET / GATE qualified candidate will be given preference.
Age limit	28 years (Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically challenged candidates)
