Advertisement - JRF position in NBHM Funded Research Project

Project Title Homological Techniques in Algebra and Representation Theory with the connection between Cluster Algebras and Number Theory
Sponsoring Agency National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India
Duration Maximum of three years. The position is temporary and coterminous with the project and only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

Fellowship Amount. Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first two years,
Rs. 42,000/- per month for the third year
Age Limit 28 years (Age relaxation as per Govt norms)
Essential Qualification for JRF The candidate must have obtained 55% (or equivalent CGPA) or above in the Master's degree or have an M. Phil degree with 55% (or equivalent CGPA) in the aggregate.
Desirable Qualification The candidate should have a good knowledge in Algebra and Number Theory. Preference will be given to the candidates with NBHM / CSIR-NET / GATE

The selected candidate is expected to register for a PhD program in Mathematics at SASTRA University, Thanjavur.
